Diagnosing Sexual Problems – Sex Doctor to the Rescue

After a lot of thinking, you have decided to visit the sexdoctor to find answers to your sexual problems. But still lurking in your mind are the questions –what will the sex doctor do to diagnose your problem?

Diagnosis
To begin with the doctor will have an exhaustive interview with you to evaluate you.  The questions will revolve around your medical, psychological and sexual history. You could be asked rather intimate questions including your sexual preferences. Try to answer the questions honestly. There is no need to fear any undesirable outcome as the doctors are bound by legal, medical laws and personal ethics and reputation.

You may then need to undergo a complete physical examination. The reasons for sexual dysfunction are many and a thorough examination holds the key to the solution. The physical test may include examination of external genitalia (scrotum, penis, and perineum). There could also be questions about sexual relations, frequency of intercourse, quality of sexual relationship and level satisfaction. A complete examination will be conducted including determination of pulse in your legs. Other test will include nocturnal tumescence test to evaluate nocturnal erections. The sex doctor may also advice you to undergo test for proper functioning of blood vessels in your penis and nervous system. The results of these tests are indicative of exact reason for penile dysfunction.

It is a good idea to take your partner with you as they may also be asked to contribute useful information on sexual satisfaction levels and other issues.
